"Lighting up the stage, a rich and exciting performance was to be found in Cristina Lark's Adela. The triumphalism of Miss Lark's conquest followed by her desolation at the apparent murder of her dreams was Shakesperean in its depth"
"The versatile Cristina Lark, as Irina, was a picture of sexy fun selling high powered rifles, and later on a train, and in a super bit of tragicomedy (again as an Irina), in a heartrending claim for the jewelery her husband had given away"
"Just the witch you hope to see when you go to Macbeth, both disturbing and comic, gruesome and sympathetic"
